1. What are the most rewarding aspects of being a pastor of a church?

It is most rewarding when individuals repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Ghost and God add them to the Church (which is his body). It is a great thing to see the members walk in love.

2. What are the most challenging aspects of being a pastor of a church?

When preaching the truth it is hard to increase membership and not lose members every year. It is often hard to encourage individuals to continue with the Church until they receive the Holy Ghost. Most of all is getting a Church to walk in love as Christ also loved us.

3. How would you like to see the Body of Christ (the church) grow spiritually?

I would like to see members seeking those things above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Setting their affection on things above, not on things on the earth. By seeking things above, it will cause individuals to desire spiritual gifts.

4. What keeps you encouraged to be bold and stay firm on God’s Word as you do?

My encouragement comes from the scripture Matthew 28:19-20. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. I know the Lord is with me.

5. Would you please explain how the Holy Ghost can change a person’s life?

Effective change can be accomplished by receiving the Holy Ghost. Individuals with the Holy Ghost have the power to abstain and deny actions that is against the will of God. According to the scripture, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witness unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” After this experience you will become a new creature, old things are passed away and all things are become new and all things are of God.
